We are currently seeking customer service-oriented individuals who can work as a Lot Attendant for Marriott Burbank.


The Lot Attendant is responsible to maintain the highest standard of service at the front entrance, to provide the highest standard of valet parking service at all times, and to undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required by the Management.

The Lot Attendant play a significant role in the success of the company.

They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients and customers see when they depart.

A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Help direct traffic to keep the flow of car clean and organized.
  • Help guest entering the parking facility with tickets and collecting parking fees from those leaving the facility if they are having trouble.
  • Provide customer service and information upon request, including answering general questions about the parking fees and facility, giving directions and supplying maps of the area.
  • Maintain a clean environment by sweeping up parking areas and picking up any refuse left in the facility.
  • Perform maintenance to barrier systems if needed or report issues to the proper maintenance staff
  • Identify and intercept vehicles that are not permitted onsite.
  • Work with the bus operators, driver, and other employees to ensure vehicles are parked in the correct

locations:
enforce proper permitting of personal vehicles parked on the lot.

  • Monitor and notify management of any safety issues and concerns.
  • Responsible to report any security or safety problems, safety hazards and potential security problems to
the supervisors.

  • Ensure associates are at all times attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and
fellow associates.

  • Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by Manager or any other member of management

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English
  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Must be able to stand during entire shift
  • Must be able to regularly stand, walk, run, use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Must have close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and ability to adjust focus
