    Meet the team:


    The Electrical Engineering team is responsible for the design, implementation and sustaining of all electronics at Dexcom, including wearable transmitter and handheld receiver.

    The team also provides specific platforms for advanced research projects and tools to support firmware development and testing.

    The Sr Manager Electrical Engineering is a key contributor who leads and grows the Design team and is responsible for providing the adequate resources and support to the Programs.


    Where you come in:


    You will be involved in the end-to-end design, from concept to verification to sustaining, of the electronics that goes in Dexcom products.


    You will lead a multi-disciplinary multi-site Design team, encompassing ULP analog, RF and digital, antennas, battery and electrical system modeling.


    You will work with the program owners and other team managers to identify and provide the needed recourses to support the desired milestones and timelines.

    You collaborate cross-functionally to resolve priority conflicts.


    You are responsible to identify, develop and motivate the needed staff and skillset to support the current and future roadmaps.

    You are empowered to define, implement and optimize the processes and tools for your team to be successful.

    You bring a breath of experience in electronic design, including ULP analog (experience with custom IC preferred), RF (in particular BLE) and digital (MCU) for high-volume/low-cost devices.

    You have substantial experience leading and developing engineering teams in a multi-functional organization.


    You have a proven ability of working closely with your team to create a trusting, respectful and innovative environment where team members can do their best work.

    You've demonstrated a strong ability to motivate your team and foster innovation.


    You have a track record of developing processes that optimize the team efficiency while ensuring the highest level of quality.


    You have been successful at working cross-functionally to integrate a broad range of aspects in the management of your team and resolve higher level priority conflicts.


    You understand and have experience with the specificities of medical device development, including Class II or Class III Product Development Process and regulatory standard such as IEC 60601, while also understand the design and manufacturing challenges of high-volume/low-cost devices.

    Experience and Education

    Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 13+ years of industry experience.

    5-8 years of previous people management experience.
