Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Mail Carrier to join our team.
As a Mail Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and efficient manner.
This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles.
Duties:
- Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery
- Load and unload mail trucks or vans
- Drive designated routes to deliver mail and packages
- Collect outgoing mail from post offices or collection boxes
- Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any undelivered items or issues encountered
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating delivery vehicles
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record of at least 2 years
- Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and moving of packages
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong customer service skills to interact with recipients in a professional manner
Pay:
$ $22.13 per hour
