Physical Therapy Aide (College Grads welcomed to apply)
Are you a college grad or a Physical Therapy Aide looking for employment?....We are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide for our Family Practice located in Mayfair.
As a Physical Therapy Aide you will assist with patient related activities which are predetermined and assigned for each patient by the Physician.
The aide main duties included but are not limited to:- Following the physical therapy care plan established by the physician.
- Preparation and clean up of patient care areas & maintaining a safe work environment,
- Clerical duties as assigned (faxing, scanning & copying), maintain accurate and current information in the EHR system by obtaining patient health insurance and claim billing information
- Stock of therapy items, ensure the treatment room is well cleaned and prepared for each patient (taking into consideration his/her special needs)
- Answer telephone calls and when necessary direct calls to the right person
- Responsible for preparing reports/forms and conducting collection/billing activities, such as copays, referrals & prior authorizations, when the front desk representative is not available
Major Requirements:
HS graduate or equivalent preferred and Covid-19 Vaccination.
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
