Your tasks

For our production site in Bünde, we are looking for a Team Lead Finance & Accounting (m/w/d)/ Team Leader Accounting.

In this role, you ensure the smooth workflow of the accounting department, work in the operational business, including accounts payable and receivable, and lead a small team of 4 employees.

Your main tasks include:

You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS, HGB, and applicable tax laws.
You develop solutions for the accounting representation of ongoing and new business transactions.
You work closely with cross-functional departments as well as internal and external stakeholders (e.g. headquarters, auditors, sales, order management, etc.).
You are involved in accounts receivable management.
In addition, you ensure the continuous development of the finance and accounting department and processes, and lead special projects.

Your qualifications

You have completed a degree in business administration with a focus on finance and accounting or have a comparable qualification, ideally with further training as a certified accountant (m/w/d).
In addition to leadership experience, you have relevant professional experience in finance and accounting in an international production company.
You also have a solid understanding of IFRS
