    About the team

    Account Management

    At GBG Americas, our Account Management team is the backbone of our client success. We believe in fostering deep, meaningful relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that drive growth. Our team thrives in a dynamic environment, leveraging innovation and collaboration to ensure we always exceed client expectations. With an intricate balance of strategy, relationship management, and technical proficiency, we're not just a team—we're the gateway to our client's success.

    The Role

    As part of the Americas GTM team, the Account Management role will develop strong meaningful relationships with our clients to maintain our existing revenue and work to identify new business opportunities to help drive growth and expansion of key customer accounts. This role will collaborate with Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to ensure our solutions are viable and optimized for each client's specific technical requirements. Together, you'll forge pathways for growth, championing our brand and ensuring a seamless client experience.

    What you will do

    This role will serve as the main point of contact for non-technical client inquiries, concerns and requests. Remaining in constant contact with key customers you will have a strong understanding of the clients needs, which will allow you to collaborate internally to align strategies and meet our customers needs. Through compelling presentations, you'll showcase how our offerings align with their needs, ensuring we remain their top choice in the industry. Fostering long-term relationships, ensuring our solutions consistently meet and adapt to our client's evolving needs.

    This position requires effective collaboration with other teams, particularly during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with the Technical Account Management (TAM) team. Reporting to the Director of Account Management and closely aligned with our enterprise and partnership sales teams, you're expertise in nurturing client relationships, expanding our client base, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service will be crucial for advancing GBG Americas in the industry.

    • Analytical Thinker: Someone who can assess market data and client feedback to identify an opportunity to present tailored solutions to our customers to improve their customer journey.
    • Goal-Oriented: A drive to consistently meet and exceed set sales targets, but with a vision that goes beyond numbers, focusing on long-term growth and client satisfaction.
    • Technical Synergy: While not necessarily an expert, a basic understanding of technical requirements, and an eagerness to work alongside Technical Account Managers to ensure our solutions align perfectly with clients' needs.
    • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Service Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client requests and projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
    • Growth Opportunities: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, ensuring clients are aware of all the solutions we can offer.
    • Feedback & Insights: Regularly gather and document client feedback, using this information to help inform product and service improvements.
    • Account Strategy: Develop and implement individual account strategies that align with the client's goals and objectives.
    • Collaboration: Liaise with the sales, product, and technical teams to ensure comprehensive support for each client.
    • Performance Tracking: Monitor client satisfaction metrics, taking proactive steps to address any issues or areas of concern.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, our product offerings, and best practices in account management to provide the best advice and service to clients.
