Industrial Engineer
to join our team.
Position Description:
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency, quality, and safety in a manufacturing facility.
Reports to the Manager – Plant Operations and will solicit consultation from members of technical and production groups; interacts directly with management and employees to develop and implement practices, initiatives, and solutions to meet production demands; work together with other members of the organization to collaborate on various projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Process Improvement:
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs .
Quality Support:
Work with production and quality teams to maintain and enhance product quality standards.
Data Analysis:
Help collect and analyze production data for process monitoring and improvements.
Safety Compliance:
Support safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Documentation:
Maintain documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Requirements:
Education:
College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Well-versed in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience with ERP systems preferred.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis.
Communication:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate process changes effectively.
Continuous Improvement Knowledge:
Familiarity and understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
