Position Summary
We are recruiting for a
Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. This is a
full-time, Monday through Friday, 100% remote position that plays a crucial role in the sales process.

As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads for appointments and scheduling appointments for the sales team.

You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, qualifying to determine their need and desire for BlackPoint IT managed service solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current SDR or customer-facing individual looking to advance or start their career in sales.

As part of our commitment to promote from within when possible, successful Sales Development Representatives will have first consideration for promotions to Business Development Managers.

Compensation

  • This is a base plus commission position
  • Base $39,520 to $45,760 ($19 to $22 per hour)

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in introductory and exploratory conversations with potential client decisionmakers, including Clevel executives
  • Schedule qualified meetings and handoff opportunities to a Business Development Manager
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system
  • Assist with marketingdriven campaigns, including event followup and consistent reporting
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends and evolve outreach strategies as the market changes

Qualifications

  • 13 years of outbound prospecting, sales, or business development experience or an equivalent combination of customerfacing work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across various channels
  • Possess strong consultative phone skills, including the ability to relay information in a clear, friendly, and engaging manner to overcome objections while remaining resolute throughout
  • Proactive problemsolving skills, with a creative mindset and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change
  • Knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, and proficiency with Microsoft O365 suite
  • A combination of strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
