The Audio Engineer creates and edits recordings, sets up equipment in studio and at events, enhances live podcast productions, follows client specifications, and meets project deadlines. He/She must have a discerning ear and be able to identify what sounds good. Outstanding candidates are knowledgeable about audio equipment, able to follow written and verbal instructions, and consistently deliver superb results. The Audio Engineer manages all audio operations to ensure optimal sound quality that complements our engaging content while meeting high standards.

Job Responsibilities

Set up and manage audio equipment for live and recorded sessions
Perform sound checks and adjustments before and during live broadcasts to guarantee superior audio quality
Operate mixing consoles and audio software during live shows, ensuring a seamless auditory experience
Promptly identify and resolve audio issues, maintaining the integrity of the live broadcast
Work collaboratively with the production team to fulfill audio requirements and enhance overall production value
Edit, mix, and optimize recorded audio for post-production releases
Maintain and organize digital audio archives
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in audio technology

Job Requirements

Demonstrated experience as an Audio Engineer in live broadcast environments
Expertise in managing a variety of audio equipment and software, with a knack for troubleshooting under pressure
Proficient with digital audio workstations and audio processing tools
Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with various production team members
Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a related field is advantageous

Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
