C & S Sweeping Services, Inc. is growing, and we are currently seeking a Payroll Clerk at our Phoenix location.


JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews and audits payroll timekeeping records
  • Researches and resolves payroll issues in a timely manner
  • Deduct and remit 401(k) transactions, garnishments and HSA contributions
  • Assistance with reconciling and resolving W2's
  • Compile Certified payroll reports
  • Assist with various audits
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Work with field representatives to problem solve in order to ensure accurate reporting and payments to employees and management

BASIC REQUIREMENT:

  • Must have experience with QuickBooks, including payroll functions
  • Must have Construction Payroll with Davis Bacon/Certified Wage experience
  • LCP tracker experience
  • Experience in multistate payroll preferred
  • Possess a good understanding of accounting and GL entries as it pertains to payroll
  • Knowledge of all federal and state laws concerning payroll, overtime and taxes
  • Demonstrate ethical and professional business practices.
  • Have effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, problem solv
  • Analyze situations using critical thinking skills.
  • Handle multiple tasks and respond with a sense of urgency as required.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skill.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
