Details about this opportunity:


  • Full Time Coordinator/Administrative Specialist
  • Westbury, NY
  • Monday-Friday 8:00am4:00pm
  • Compensation: $20$25/Hour
  • Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held

Responsibilities:


  • Input of new students demo information
  • Assist in processing and scheduling referrals for clinic based services
  • Updating correct demo info for existing students
  • Creating new enrollments
  • Auditing existing enrollments for correct dates, location, etc.
  • Creating child files within student register for each new school year
  • Saving documentation to correct files as needed
  • Cleanup projects in Claims
  • Answers phone calls and greets visitors
  • Orders and keeps inventory of materials
  • Assist in facilitating and scheduling maintenance of the building

About You:


_ If you have these attributes:_

  • Passionate to work with children, families, and therapists
  • Knowledge of Special Education system highly preferred
  • Sterling values, high integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exposure to the practice of maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Empathetic & considerate of others
  • Ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment

_ And this background:
_


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 35 years office experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
  • CLAIMS Knowledge a plus
  • Previous experience in agency/school a plus
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Selfstarter is a must
