    Assistant Director Occupational Health -Florida Market (CNP required)

    Location: Stuart

    Facility: CC Martin Health

    Department: Occupational Health-Caregiver Office

    Shift: Days + Call

    Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm

    Job Description:

    Cleveland Clinic Health System is on a mission to reshape the future of healthcare. Join our team as an Assistant Director Occupational Health in Florida, where you'll have the power to make a real difference in the lives of patients and caregivers.

    Responsibilities:
    • Stay updated on regulatory requirements for agencies such as CDC, OSHA, CMS, JC, ODH.
    • Help develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient and evidence-based Occupational Health services.
    • Identify and address care delivery issues, leading quality improvement initiatives as necessary.
    • Supervise nurse managers, ensuring teams work effectively and meet quality metrics.
    • Engage in staff development and coaching programs.
    • Collaborate with other departments and participate in hospital committees.
    • Oversee programs like flu vaccine campaigns, respirator fit testing, and TB screening.
    • Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities.
    • Execute additional assigned tasks.
    Clinical Program Lead: Take charge of specific programs as needed, setting goals, monitoring metrics, and conducting necessary trainings.

    Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Provide clinical oversight and implement direct services.
    • Supervise clinical nursing staff, ensuring quality of care.
    • Collaborate with Occupational Health Hotline team for exposure management.
    • Conduct specialized physical examinations and provide necessary post-exposure treatments.
    Education:
    • APRN & MSN required.
    Languages:
    • Fluency in English.
    Certifications:
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Florida and Ohio.
    • Hold national certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
    • Additional certification in occupational health or related field preferred.
    Competencies:
    • Demonstrate critical thinking, sound judgement, and ability to work autonomously.
    • Possess strong communication, attention to detail, and change management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    Work Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience as an APRN.
    • 2 years of healthcare management/leadership experience.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Able to operate office equipment and travel to various locations.
    Personal Protective Equipment:
    • Use necessary protective equipment as required.
