On behalf of the European Commission, we operate and monitor the Galileo satellite constellation at the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen.


Our company headquarters is located where others go on vacation - in the Upper Bavarian Five Lakes region near Munich.

At the Oberpfaffenhofen space location, our approximately 280 employees work daily in international and interdisciplinary teams on the navigation of the future.

YOUR MISSION:



For the maintenance of the Galileo ground segment, we are looking for support for our

Level 1 IT team, which plays a central role in the execution of the Galileo mission. You are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues on the Galileo IT systems. This ensures the reliability and availability of our

complex satellite control system at the hardware and software level (i.e. customized server/switch/firewall architecture solutions).


We are looking for an IT engineer or IT specialist who is flexible and motivated to continuously educate themselves, who is enthusiastic about working in a practical environment, and who enjoys taking on new projects and solving problems.

In addition to solid technical knowledge, you should be able to understand problems, recognize patterns, and process complex information quickly in order to make decisions
