Purpose


Responsibilities:

Program Operations

  • Coordinates procurement and distribution of branded merchandise. Requires proactive communications and close partnerships across functional areas to ensure accurate and timely distribution of items, and a solid understanding of UT and McCombs purchasing guidelines.
  • Provides support to faculty, including authorizations for programrelated travel, instructor payments, course evaluation survey distribution and survey data collection.
  • Maintains faculty distribution lists.
  • Collaborates with WP/E MBA program leadership and staff to understand the unique operational needs of each program.
  • Maintains organized records, files, and databases related to the WP/E MBA program portfolio.
  • Supports crossfunctional projects and initiatives involving other departments (admissions, career services, finance, etc.).
  • Troubleshoots and problemsolving operational issues, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Analyzes programrelated data and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Strategic Initiatives

  • Provide general administrative support for WP/E MBA program strategic initiatives.
  • Provides feedback on current processes and supports planning and implementation of process improvements.
  • Assists with additional administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with one (1) year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level or High School Diploma and five (5) years of clerical experience.
  • Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours and conduct instate travel in support of job duties.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant technology.
  • Creative problemsolving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Success working in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a large population.
  • Professional demeanor and a serviceminded approach to executing job functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 23 years' experience performing complex administrative functions.
  • Experience in an academic or higher education setting.
  • Knowledge of MBA program operations or prior work in graduatelevel education.
  • Knowledge of university procurement and payment policies.
  • Experience working with selfsupporting degree programs.
Salary Range

$43,000+ depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions (shared office space provided) with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
  • Extended hours and travel may be required to support academic programs
  • This is an Austin, Texasbased position and is eligible for Hybrid work.
