We are seeking a full-time Studio Librarian who is a motivated, passionate, and aspiring individual with a background in library management to maintain and enhance design results through a range of activities and responsibilities.

Reporting to the Office Coordinator, the Studio Librarian supports the day-to-day operations of the Resource Library by the following responsibilities that includes but are not limited to:


Vendor Management:


  • Act as primary liaison between vendors, manufacturers, showrooms, and designers by establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, contact information, routinely update, and schedule presentations.
  • Create workflows and material filing structures for vendor resources that enriches the design process.
  • Screen new products with sales representatives.
  • Order new samples and return samples to showrooms and vendors when necessary.
  • Identify new vendors and resources and share new product information with the Studio.

Library Maintenance:


  • Manage and maintain the overall organization, sorting, and general upkeep of the Materials Library.
  • File and ensure all materials borrowed from the library are returned.
  • Assist with sourcing and procurement of materials as needed and directed by Principal, Studio Leader, and Designers.
  • Ensure all samples, catalogs, and databases remain current.
  • Prepare materials needed for meetings and presentations when necessary.

Your Skills, Traits, and Credentials:


  • 1 Year experience in Studio Library Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience working in the Interior Design field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively create harmonious and professional relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge of fabrics and finish materials.
  • Ability to "jumpin" and eager to learn and provide support to staff.
