Materials Mgmt Tech-FT-Day Shift - Flowood, United States - Merit Health River Oaks
Description
The Materials Management Technician is responsible for supply activities including checking par levels of specified areas, delivering supplies to replenish pars, filling and delivery of requisition requests, replenishing Code Carts, keying activities into the Purchasing Inventory System.
Assures that all storage areas are maintained in clean and orderly fashion.
Education:
Some post-secondary education is preferred
Experience:
Two (2) years of Material Management and/ or Medical Supplies Buyer experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
Must have some advanced mathematical ability as it relates to healthcare inventory (i.e. cc, mg) and bulk distribution and inventory calculations.Understands the correlation of the Materials Management Technician function in the delivery of quality patient care and the ability to provide continuous services.
