Compensation:

$55,000 - $69,000 plus benefits


Responsibilities:


  • Submit insurance claims and follow up on unpaid, rejected, or denied claims to resolve and resubmit when required
  • Respond quickly to customer and colleague inquiries related to account status, outstanding charges, and billing activity
  • Issue refunds, transfer of responsibility, and adjustments, as needed, and update accounting records
  • Prepare invoices, reconcile billing, compile reports and other documents using billing software, and field related questions from internal teams and customers
  • Audit customer bills and invoices for completeness and seek additional payer information, as needed

Qualifications:


  • Evidence of success meeting firm deadlines and proactively seeking results is necessary
  • Research and problemsolving skills are required to facilitate collections, fix errors, and assess denials
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent required, associate degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working in accounts receivable billing, or insurance, or as a customer service representative or data entry specialist is a plus
  • Exemplary communication, organization, and math skills are essential to excel at working effectively with clients and ensuring accuracy in billing
  • Must live within daily driving distance of the office
  • Must have working rights in the USA
  • Accounts receivable management experience required, quickbooks a plus
