Description

Position: Financial Analyst/Budget Analyst

Location: Cupertino, CA Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

We're seeking an agile professional to join our Strategy team, contributing to our mission of scaling the business to new markets while establishing effective organizational practices. As a Budget Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in developing annual and quarterly operating plans, focusing on WPC's budget and overseeing day-to-day P2P processes.

Strong understanding of finance and budgeting

Ideal Candidate Background/Experience:

Technical experience preferred but not mandatory
Soft skills: ability to handle ambiguity, understand trends, and see the bigger picture

Key Qualifications:

Collaborative mindset, able to work cross-functionally within a globally distributed group.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in financial planning.
Excellent analytical skills to identify problems and communicate solutions.
Proficiency in software tools such as SAP, Tableau, and Advanced Excel.
Highly responsive, adaptable, and self-starting with 3+ years of professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure data integrity through regular checks.
Analyze and report changes in data over time.
Initiate and track Purchase Orders (POs).
Set up new vendors and manage vendor relationships.
Process invoices, troubleshoot discrepancies, and track approvals.
Understand and assist users with the tools we utilize.
Calculate and reconcile accounts for quarter-close accruals.
Conduct ad hoc data analyses as requested.
Perform other operational tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent.
