Description
Responsibilities:
Lead children and parents in a 1-hour birthday party program. The program includes a nature-themed lesson, hands-on investigation, outdoor exploration, active movement or games, and a craft. This is a part-time weekend position that requires a 1 1/- 2 hour commitment per birthday party. Parties are held at our Nature Center in Newton or at family homes in the Greater Boston area. Compensation is $72 per party.
Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience with 28 year olds
- Experience in outdoor education and/or degree in the natural sciences a plus
- Dependable, responsible, and organized
- Funloving, creative, and engaging
- Reliable transportation is a must
