Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our facility located in Beaver Dam, WI, As the Maintenance Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities within our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations
Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability for maintenance needs
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance-related issues and improve overall facility operations
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among the maintenance team
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records
Train and mentor maintenance technicians, fostering their professional development and enhancing their technical skills

Qualifications

Prior experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or trade school education is a plus

You should be proficient in:

PLC Troubleshooting Skills
Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
PLC Wiring Experience
Troubleshooting CNC Machines
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Machines & technologies you'll use:

Servo Motors
Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R Industrial Automation)
Conveyor Systems

Salary info:

$35 - $37 / hr
