Description

RMA is seeking a Full-Time REI Coordinator/Outside Monitoring Coordinator for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. Work schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm with possible weekend and holiday coverage.


The REI Coordinator/Outside Monitoring Coordinator carries out administrative duties, assists in all aspects of outside monitoring, and ensures all proper documentation for patients have been collected and more.


Essential Functions and Accountabilities:


  • Facilitates the planning and implementation of patient care with the other multidisciplinary teams to coordinate total patient care.
  • Registers new and returning outside monitoring patients.
  • Utilizes EMR to make sure all required documents, consents, scripts are received and that appropriate progress notes have been recorded or records uploaded to patient's file.
  • Enters all lab orders or procedures in to patient charts in a timely manner.
  • Schedules monitoring and procedure appointments.
  • Sends all same day results and procedure reports to the prescribing facility daily.
  • Assisting in Lanfax tasks
  • Triages patient inquiries & provides patients with high level of customer service.

Academic Training:


  • High School Diploma acceptable with appropriate handson clinical experience
- _Studies level:_ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Associate Degree and/or CMA certification _
    preferred_
- _Studies level:_ Associate's degree


or
- _Studies level: _Certification

- _Studies area: _Medical Assistant program


Position Requirements/Experience:


  • Minimum of two years' experience in a multiphysician practice (three or more physicians) with proven work experience in both clinical and administrative areas
  • Prior experience in women's healthcare _preferred_
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Technical Skills:


  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office). Keyboard skills of 25 words required.
  • Experience with medical office software program(s) (EMR's) preferred.
