As a Portfolio Manager in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you'll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading company, helping create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing the BCo project portfolio and aligning programs and projects to strategic management plans.
- Responsible for effectively communicating the status of the portfolio and value/benefits created by programs and projects.
- Provide financial tracking and management support for key programs and projects, monthly functional and capital plan activities including capital plan request submissions and auditing actual charges.
- Managing the yearly capital planning activities for the BCo BTS organization and aligning with the leadership to implement a common strategy and plan to achieve business goals.
- Manage a balance scorecard to illustrate and monitor BCo BTS performance through effective KPI's.
- Benchmark BCo BTS performance against industry, AbbVie BTS, and peer IT organizations.
- Work directly with leadership to translate performance goals into process improvement objectives.
Tools and skills you will use in this role:
- Ability to effectively work with PPM tools (i.e. Microsoft Project, Clarity, Workfront).
- Experienced in building schedules and dashboards in Smartsheet.
- Ability to prepare and present executive level presentations, communicate, and persuade Business and IT executives.
- Experience working with SAP financial modules and reports.
- Proficient in building executive level reports and dashboards.
- Experienced with using PowerBI for KPI reporting.
- Required_
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years' experience; Master's Degree with 6 years' experience; or PhD with 2 years' experience.
- Experienced in strategic planning and critical thinking.
- 5+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management.
- Beneficial_
- Broad awareness of ITIL processes, IT industry and IT maturity models.
- PMP certification.
