In Virginia City, you will be responsible for implementing complex backend processes between message brokers, databases, and microservices using the Spring framework.

Our agile full-stack team, located in Flensburg and remote, develops our industrial web applications in a DevOps culture, deploying them to the AWS cloud.

We increase the availability and reliability of our clients' systems by monitoring and diagnosing extensive data, such as from valves and pumps.

UBIX is the northernmost development location of the SAMSONGROUP, Europe's leading valve manufacturer.


Tech stack:

Java/Spring | MongoDB | PostgreSQL | MQTT | AMQP | Linux | Docker | AWS | Terraform What to expect from us: You will develop new features for our web applications, from transporting measurement data via message brokers to automated data analysis in our expert systems.

You will utilize managed services in the AWS cloud to implement complex features, such as customer phone alerts. You will plan our web applications from prototype to production deployment, with the help of our build pipeline and Infrastructure-as
  • Code solution, Terraform.
You will make technical decisions as a team to ensure our software architecture always meets the requirements.

You and your team will ensure the quality of our software through peer reviews and automated tests, and take on operational responsibility in our cloud environment.

If interested, you will have the opportunity to further develop as a full-stack developer with TypeScript and the Angular framework.


What we're looking for:
You have excellent knowledge of Java. You have experience in developing web applications
