Corporate Beverage Director - Regional Hospitality Group
Regional hospitality group based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a talented Beverage Director to oversee the beverage program for its portfolio of bars, restaurants and cafes The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of spirits and wine (sake knowledge a plus) along with a proven track record of running multi-faceted beverage programs with a minimum annual revenue of $10+ million.
Responsibilities:
Lead all beverage operations, including service, menu development, staffing & people development, inventory, costing, and scheduling.
Implement and enforce efficient systems and procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the beverage program.
Collaborate with the district sommelier to develop a selection, pricing, and procurement strategy for all liquors and wines.
Partner with the executive chef to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
Conduct interviews, hire, and train direct reports, while enabling all Harwood District concepts to adopt best practices in beverage program management.
Oversee the efficient usage of POS systems, inventory systems, beverage lists, and other materials related to the beverage program.Requirements:
Expertise in food and beverage management, with a minimum of 3 years leading a dynamic beverage program.
In-depth knowledge of wine and spirits is essential, and sake knowledge is highly desirable.
Required Level 1 certification from an accredited wine education program, with Level 2 or higher preferred.
Stay current on wine, spirits, and mixology trends, as well as the latest industry developments.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
