- Expertise in all menu items to consistently produce high-quality dishes on all kitchen stations
- Prepare food items while accommodating allergy requests and dish modifications
- Assist in managing inventory to control food costs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following kitchen guidelines
- Monitor wastage, cooking quality, and costs to contribute to the company's profitability
- Delegate tasks when necessary while ensuring adherence to proper procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership for pre and post-service meetings
- Uphold Soho House Standards for service and speed of service goals
- Foster a positive team environment and boost staff morale
- Participate in training sessions to support team development
- Assist in kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Provide excellent food knowledge and service
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a professional, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proficient in professional cooking and knife handling
- Flexible schedule for morning, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Food handler's certificate
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Creativity in recipe development is a plus
- Ability to handle objects and stand for 8-10 hours
- Quick movements within the kitchen environment
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly
- Occasional exposure to varying environmental conditions
- Flexibility in physical movements as needed
