The Manager of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) plays an integral role within our dynamic, cross-functional team, dedicated to implementing industry-leading practices and staying abreast of developments to achieve tangible outcomes.

This pivotal role entails crafting and executing comprehensive strategies for optimizing organic search traffic, with a particular emphasis on enhancing visibility within Google Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs), as well as across various platforms including video, branding initiatives, and engagement in online discussions.

A hands-on approach defines this position, which assumes responsibility for both individual brand strategy formulation and day-to-day operational execution.

The Manager will design key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish robust reporting mechanisms to effectively monitor traffic patterns, analyze competitor strategies, and track industry trends.

Leveraging data-driven insights, this individual will offer informed recommendations aimed at aligning SEO efforts with overarching company objectives, with a primary focus on driving sustained organic traffic growth and sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aimed at enhancing organic search traffic while aligning with conversion, engagement, and branding objectives
  • Implement daily optimization efforts across various channels, including Google SERPs, video platforms, branding initiatives, and online discussion forums
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to monitor traffic, keyword ranking, competitor activities, and industry trends
  • Conduct indepth keyword and competitor research to inform brand strategies and refine SEO
  • Stay updated on industry developments, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate SEO initiatives into broader marketing and business strategies across the organization
  • Coordinate closely with social media, digital advertising, marketing, and technical teams to optimize campaigns and execute strategies effectively, including blog posts and strategies
  • Conduct regular audits of website content, structure, and performance to capitalize on improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze website analytics to evaluate the efficacy of SEO strategies and make necessary adjustments
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in search engine optimization and digital marketing
  • Lead and mentor crossfunctional team members, offering guidance and support in SEO best practices and tactics
  • Perform technical site audits, identify and resolve technical SEO issues, and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, meta and heading tags, and other site elements for enhanced SEO performance; contribute to content creation
  • Oversee offpage optimization projects, including the development of an effective backlink strategy and budget
  • Evaluate new technologies for reporting, execution, and AI implementation within the realm of SEO
  • Manage relationships with external partners in SEO, including agencies where applicable, and related disciplines
  • Deliver regular reports and key performance indicators to senior executives and stakeholders, highlighting the impact and outcomes of SEO initiatives
  • Develop tailored SEO strategies to meet the unique requirements of individual websites for four retail brands in the fine jewelry sector
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SEO issues as they arise
  • Fulfill any other SEOrelated duties as assigned

Mandatory Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of direct, handson experience developing, planning, and executing comprehensive SEO strategies
  • Proven success in meeting SEO goals and objectives
  • Experience managing multiple brand strategies
  • Handson experience with SEO tools and software including SEMRush, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Understanding of analytics and backend needs: product feeds and feed management, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, Google Tag Manager, etc.
  • Ability to lead and influence crossfunctional teams in a positive, collaborative manner
  • Able to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously without sacrificing productivity or qua
