About:

A well-established global law firm are looking to onboard an Associate to join their Capital Markets practice group. They are looking to grow their team in their New York, New York office location.

The firm is well established with 7 offices worldwide and a platform of over 400 attorneys. The team advises both public and private capital raising and work with structure transactions.

They work on a broad range of matters including initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary offerings, direct stock exchange listings, acquisitions, and carve-out financings.

A minimum of three years' relevant law firm experience.
Experience in corporate law, with particular experience in securities law advice and capital market transactions.
Specific expertise in securities and capital markets in particular, familiarity with public company reporting obligations, public securities offerings, SEC compliance and corporate governance requirements.
Previous experience in working on private placements, Rule 144A offerings, PIPE transactions, initial public offerings, followon offerings of equity and debt securities, and continuous offering programs.
Knowledge of debt and equity markets transactions.
The role works assisting with issuerside and underwriterside private and public offerings, as well as ongoing securities disclosure matters, including 34 Act reporting and corporate governance matters.
Proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload, within a fastpaced environment.
Ability to manage smaller projects and exhibit strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
Strong academic credentials and writing skills is imperative.
