The Spa Coordinator is responsible for creating a customer service-oriented environment.

Duties include proactively welcoming guests and dealing with all inquiries, being knowledgeable about treatments, products and services offered as well as pricing, scheduling treatments to maximize use of time within the treatment schedule, retail sales, and cash drawer maintenance.

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week._
  • Scheduling appointments and confirming availability of services with clients
  • Updating treatment menus to reflect new services or products offered by the spa or salon.
  • Communicating with clients regarding appointments and any changes in their reservations
  • Explaining spa services to prospective customers, answering questions, and making recommendations based on client needs.
  • Maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies to ensure that treatments are provided in a timely manner.
  • Meeting with clients before their appointments to discuss desired results and make sure they are comfortable with the treatment process.
  • Providing excellent customer service to each client, treating them with respect and courtesy throughout their time at the spa.
  • Providing administrative support such as answering the phones, scheduling appointments, updating records, and handling billing issues.
  • Monitoring the progress of treatments to ensure that they meet standards of quality and safety.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Highschool diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks.
  • Resort and Spa experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Sales and customer services skills.
  • Multitasking skills.
  • Excellent time management skills are required.

Physical Demands:


  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and handeye coordination.
  • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
