- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred: or a combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a hotel controller, hotel assistant controller or hotel accounting manager.
- Experience with full cycle accounting processes and payroll
- A proficiency in income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL accounting, sales tax filings, collections, and financial reporting
- Experience in the managing month-end cycle through balance sheet and bank reconciliations, along with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting skills
- Excellent administrative, interpersonal , written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented and operate with a high degree of accuracy, initiative and integrity.
- Ability to work independently, as well as cohesively with a team
- Positioning the property to achieve business goals
- Proactively supporting the hotel departments to achieve their goals and objectives

The Edgewater Hotel is looking for an energetic, friendly, service-oriented Assistant Director of Finance You will work closely with the Director of Finance in ensuring accurate and compliant accounting of the hotels budgets and finances.
