Machine Shop Inspector (QC)

Pay:
/hr


Hours: 12:00pm-8:30pm (8hr swing shift)

S&S Numerical is a leading aerospace company supplying our customers with the highest quality interior cabin assemblies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inprocess inspection on operators currently running part.
  • Perform verification activities. (First Articles)
  • Ensure tools are calibrated.
  • Understand and comprehend all forms of technical documents including blueprints and drawings, written specifications, charts, tables, etc.
  • Vendor part receiving inspection
  • Log in QC related items into various files
  • Work safely and as part of a high performing team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conformance to FOD policy
  • Document work completed and maintain accurate records

Requirements:


  • Works independently, follow instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Properly uses measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.)


  • Strong communication skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience

  • 1 year minimum experience as QC Inspector
  • Experience working with low volume, high value parts
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish)
