Job Summary:_

We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our team.

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will create packaging displays and sales support material for sales and marketing team at Calico Brands.

To furnish assistance and support to the Creative Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and grow their skills in graphic design.

Duties:

The reproduction and color separation of private labels logos for imprinting on lighters
To produce private label packaging from provided style guide or other provided materials
Design product packaging for private label accounts from concept to print ready art
Take photos of the products, packaging, and displays for use in marketing and sales collateral
Photo Retouching
Production of sales collateral, both printed and online
Keep website updated as required
Monitor and maintain paper and supplies for printers
To cover for Creative Manager as required during absences
Organize and maintain art files.

Requirements:

Bachelor's preferred but not required.
Minimum 1year work experience in a similar or same role.
Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word programs.
Must be proficient in Adobe Suite, Acrobat, Premiere Pro or After Effects.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior designers
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Working conditions
Normal office work environment.

Physical requirements
Ability to see, hear, talk, sit for many hours and use computer key boards, phones and other office equipment. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs, occasionally.

Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
