Through continuous market engagement, the EB GO ensures that Gibson remains proactive and effectively interacts with potential buyers throughout their purchasing journey.
Key Responsibilities:
This is an overview of the primary responsibilities for this role. This is not a complete list of the role functions.
New Business Development & Practice Growth- Collaborate with CGO & COO to develop annual growth plans.
- Lead, manage, and hold sales teams accountable to annual growth plans.
- Develop and maintain small book of business ($500k$750k) to ensure market awareness and demonstrate mastery of Gibson sales process.
- Demonstrate meaningful knowledge of the markets where Gibson does business.
Value Proposition & Innovation- Own the consistent evolution of Gibson's value proposition in collaboration with Practice Leader and Sales Team Leaders
- Lead key innovation projects in collaboration with EB Practice Leadership
- Collaborate across departments to ensure consistency in how Gibson's value proposition is delivered.
Talent Recruitment & Development- Source, evaluate and recruit sales talent in collaboration with CEO, CGO, Sales Team Leaders and Human Resources
- Ensure bestinclass onboarding and sales training in collaboration with Sales Team Leaders and Learning & Development team.
Strategic Partnerships- Maintain relationships with key carrier and strategic partnerships
- Consistently source and evaluate new strategic partnerships
Required:
- Minimum 7+ years' professional insurance experience
- Extensive experience delivering meaningful results for employee benefits clients, spanning from employees
- Bachelor's degree
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Sophisticated presentation skills and the ability to deliver a compelling presentation both internally and externally
- Advanced sales expertise, including advocacy for new ideas and strategies
- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Mastery of Microsoft Office products
