Position Summary:

LinQuest is seeking a Protection Technologies Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Alexandria, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise for warfighting capability development, integration, and transition of new technologies that close timecritical gaps in highpriority, multicomponent warfighting missions.
Directly support the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).
Deliver technical assessments and analysis to provide recommended innovative approaches, technologies, and capabilities to address critical joint warfighting capability gaps for Protection, Countering WMD, and AMD.
Provide technical analysis and advice to inform capability requirements development and validation through the JCIDS process.
Provide technical expertise to inform mission engineering studies, prototype development, experimentation, and global integrated wargaming.
Provide technical expertise to support the transition of technologies from prototypes and joint experimentation activities to Service programs of record.
Prepare and deliver reports and briefings to DoD leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

At least 15 years of relevant technical work experience.
Master of Science degree in engineering or a related technical field; or a certificate from intermediate Professional Military Education.
Subject matter expertise with Protection, Countering WMD, and/or AMD capabilities, concept of operations, and concepts of employment.
Selfstarter, able to take initiative and operate independently.
Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to develop highquality, professional briefings and written reports to succinctly capture technical concepts for senior DoD leadership and Congress.
Active TS/SCI clearance (or, TS with an SCI within the last 24 months, with current SCI eligibility).
The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)
