**Description**
**Position Summary:**
The Senior Accountant supporting the DC Inventory Control function will be responsible for moderate to complex Accounting activities relating to Intercompany Reconciliation, Operational DC movements, Inventory Valuation, and Metric Reporting. This role will also provide leadership & supervision to a direct report.
**Responsibilities:**
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Direct and supervise an Accountants day to day activities
Performance Management / Development
Establish and maintain relationships with DC Operations, BBW Finance, and many cross-functional partners.
Provide leadership & guidance to DCIC team on ad hoc inventory resolution.
Ability to consistently stay curious and dig into resolutions.
Complete month-end Intercompany Reconciliation
Clear understanding of SAP movements creating Intercompany activity and accounting behind movements.
Month-end close activities such as blackbooks, journal entries and IPE review
Compile and present monthly KPI and Inventory Meetings
Review monthly aging for DCs.
Review and analyze current finance processes, identify areas of opportunity and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency and effectiveness

Strong knowledge and application of financial and accounting principles and fundamentals
Professional and strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate one-on-one with cross-functional partners under a variety of conditions
Operates successfully within a team to achieve desired outcomes and interacts effectively with all levels of cross-functional partnerships.
Conducts all work in an ethical, honest, professional and confidential manner
Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
Self-motivated, self-starting and a creative thinker
Continuous improvement / process improvement focus
Demonstrates the ability to pivot and balance workload across multiple priorities while remaining organized
**Experience and Education:**
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3+ years experience in accounting, accounts payable, finance or other related industry experience
Previous experience with SAP beneficial
Familiar with PowerPoint and developing presentation to communicate ideas, metrics, and analysis
Strong PC skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
