As a Materials Global Sourcing Manager, you will lead a large strategic supplier or suppliers through strategies, techniques, models, and processes that result in high-quality supplier support when providing goods and services.

Your responsibility will include collaborating with Supplier Managers, Category Managers, and supplier account teams across multiple categories, engaging in and owning the development and implementation of supplier strategies to optimize cost, supply, and quality.

You will also be supporting critical initiatives, supplier performance management, global supplier coordination, sourcing activities, and supplier relationships.

What's Encouraged Daily:

Supplier Management

Lead commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers, lead crosscategory and significant companytocompany critical issues; and support category issues for assigned suppliers as needed.
Serve as the center of knowledge for the assigned supplier(s) and share knowledge with key customers and members of the category teams to enable more effective planning, forecasting, and execution.
Partner with the category team and customers to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance.
Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization, including Executive Leadership.

Cost Management & Analysis

Identify and evaluate categoryspecific savings/revenue levers.
Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.
Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal customers.

Negotiation

Lead global gas sourcing projects and strategies, from the scope definition stage, through decision analysis, executive award recommendation, and contract negotiation.
Collaborate across categories to ensure unified multidisciplinary plans.
Lead strategic plans for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, improved terms and conditions, etc.
Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into bonded deals.
Develop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and build, monitor, and enforce contract conditions.

Business Partnering

Collaborate with Collaborators to Deliver Strategic Solutions
Develop and maintain your skills with the global assigned supplier(s) through relationships with Category Teams.
Drive a customercentric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement.

You are:

Proficient in contract negotiation, sourcing of materials/equipment/services, and industrial gas processes
Experienced in a supplier management role, preferably in a semiconductor or tech industry.
Demonstrate experience in supplier management techniques.
Ability to lead without direct authority.

How To Qualify:

5 years leading procurement and/or engineering projects.
A bachelor's degree in engineering and/or business is preferred
Strong negotiation skills, crossteam collaboration, proficiency in written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Desired degree/certifications but not required:

Master's degree in Business Administration
Professional Procurement Certification (ISM, APICS, etc.)
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
