What is an FSJ? What is a BFD?

The Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) serves as a way to gain orientation and practical experience between school, training, and career. It provides an important decision-making aid for future career choices and can be used to bridge waiting periods between school and training in a meaningful way.

The Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) offers the opportunity to do something for oneself and for other people. At the same time, the FSJ can be recognized as a pre-internship for social, nursing, and educational professions.

We offer several practice positions for a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) / Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) throughout the year.
