- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies for all affiliated physician practices.
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of financial records for all practices.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends to support strategic decision-making for each practice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and practice administrators.
- Negotiate contracts with payers and vendors on behalf of the practices.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations.
- Lead the physician practice finance team and mentor staff.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in healthcare finance or a related field, with a strong focus on financial analysis and accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferable.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required), Master's degree in Accounting (MAcc) a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models (a plus).
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and healthcare specific applications (e.g., practice management systems).
