Full-time Head of Department (m/f/d) Accounting in Pocasset, MA:

ABOUT US:

Petri & Eichen is a progressive and well-connected organization in the Bremen youth welfare sector with over 500 employees.

In our diakonische children and youth facilities, we provide services in the areas of child and youth welfare (residential, semi-residential, and outpatient), youth development, and child day care.

We are currently seeking a full-time Head of Department (m/f/d) for our accounting department.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Operational management of employees in financial accounting and facility management
Ensuring proper processes and continuous development in financial accounting and facility management
Addressing fundamental questions in financial accounting and facility management
Planning, coordinating, and organizing financial transactions, including liquidity management
Ensuring proper bookkeeping
Preparing annual financial statements and tax returns

WE EXPECT THE FOLLOWING FROM YOU FOR THIS POSITION:

Completed university degree with a focus on accounting or professional training with further education as a certified accountant
Extensive professional experience in the field of accounting, including management experience
Proficient in Diamant/4 and Microsoft Office products
Interest in working for a nonprofit organization
Committed, goaloriented, and serviceoriented team player
Social competence, friendly demeanor, and a high level of care, loyalty, and discretion
