    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for overseeing accounting, budgeting, cost/financial analysis, and financial operations
    • Supervises and supports FP&A staff, including prioritizing work, conducting evaluations, ensuring training, and making recommendations for hiring, termination, and discipline
    • Maintains financial records and accounts for weekly, monthly, and annual reporting
    • Performs financial, budget, and cost analysis of operations and revenues; makes recommendations for future financial activities
    • Develops, implements, and enforces financial and budget policies and procedures
    • Prepares financial and budget reports, special reports, and interprets study results
    • Schedules and coordinates annual audits with contractors
    • Prepares financial statements and reports, including monthly, annual, and periodic
    • Plans, implements, and monitors department and company goals
    • Manages payment, issuance of documents, audit responses, billing adjustments, and receivable accounts
    • Conducts performance evaluations of FP&A staff
    • Advises management on financial impacts on operations
    • Prepares financial analysis for new programs and business development
    • Maintains contacts with various stakeholders and agencies
    • Collaborates to prepare long-range forecasting and strategic goals
    • Ensures compliance with financial and accounting policies, procedures, and systems
    • Oversees company's investment portfolio and financial information systems
    • Maintains financial performance metrics and KPIs
    • Ensures accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards
    • Conducts financial analysis for programs, acquisitions, and business development
    • Develops strategies to increase cash flow and compliance with financing covenants
    • Conducts meetings and collaborates with teams for revenue collection and financial performance
    • Maintains financial controls and ensures tax compliance
    • Advises on critical financial/accounting matters and updates on financials
    • Participates in meetings and serves as primary financial representative
    • Negotiates contracts and agreements; participates in professional associations and community activities
    • Maintains company's reputation and confidentiality levels
    • Ensures secure work areas and compliance with policies and regulations
    • Completes special projects as assigned
