The Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia is currently seeking two referents (m/f/d) for the Department IV-6 "Flood Protection, Dam Management" to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis.

Your responsibilities:

The salary is based on pay grade A 13 to A 15 LBesO A NRW or salary group 13 to 15 TV-L, depending on the required qualifications.

Flood protection in times of climate change

As a consequence of the catastrophic flood event in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate in July 2021, the Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport (MUNV) has published the 10-point action plan "Flood Protection in Times of Climate Change", which outlines essential measures for adapting flood protection to the effects of climate change (see ).

The 10-point action plan and the EU Flood Risk Management Directive (FRMD) result in a variety of interdisciplinary tasks for Department IV-6. The following priorities are particularly noteworthy:
