Description
The Richmond Promise scholarship is made possible by a 10-year, $35 million seed-investment from the Chevron Corporation's Environmental and Community Investment Agreement with the City of Richmond.
The Richmond Promise is a 501c3 charitable organization with institutional partnerships with the City of Richmond, WCCUSD, Contra Costa College, University of California and California State University systems.
Mission:
We see a day when all children in Richmond have access to high quality education, excel from high school to higher education, attain a postsecondary degree or certification, thrive in the field of their choice, and become a leader of positive change in their community and the world
Goals:
Increase the number of students, particularly who are low-income and first in their family to go to college, who: 1.
Are exposed to college resources, role models, and experiences throughout K-16 2. Successfully transition to an accredited university/college directly from high school 3. Successfully transfer from community college to 4-year university 4. Complete an associates degree, bachelor degree, or career + technical educationMember Duties:
The Scholarship Operations & Data Coordinator will support the implementation and maintenance of clear and sustainable scholarship operations and a data management system, support general organizational operations, as well as support the organization's efforts to support students through degree attainment through data-informed digital supports.
