Oakwood IT manages the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions for companies within the Schwarz Group. This includes the selection, provision, operation, and further development of IT infrastructures, platforms, and business applications. In order to support the business departments with their processes, Schwarz IT consults with them to understand their requirements and collaborates to develop professional and efficient IT solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Assist in building a fully automated, top-of-the-line Kubernetes edge solution that runs at thousands of distributed locations.
Depending on the needs, develop everything from small integration scripts to full-fledged Kubernetes operators and custom control planes to automate the deployment and operation of our platform.
Collaborate with your team to design, implement, test, document, and operate the developed solution.
In addition to software development and container infrastructure operation, provide consulting support for selecting the right tools (toolchain) and software architecture, and assist in building and operating as needed.

Your Profile

You have a degree in computer science or a completed apprenticeship as an application developer with several years of professional experience.
You are familiar with at least one object-oriented programming language and a scripting language, and are able and motivated to acquire new knowledge as required. Knowledge of Golang and Python is advantageous.
