- Work alongside the Sterile Processing staff daily, ensuring all duties are carried out efficiently.
- Take charge of assessing, planning, and overseeing instrumentation to align with the center's mission and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the OR Manager to oversee all sterile and supply functions in the ASC.
- Lead and manage the Sterile Processing team to deliver high-quality service while minimizing infection risks.
- Serve as a link between Central Service and other departments, providing guidance on processing and sterilization procedures to prevent infections.
- Physical Requirements: Expect to stand and walk for 80% of your shift and lift up to 30-40 lbs frequently.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is a must.
- CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification is mandatory.
- 5-7 years of experience in a Central Sterile Department or Operating Room setting is required.
- 3-4 years of supervisory experience or a background as a Surgical Tech with Central Processing experience is essential.
