    Join our team and succeed with us

    We are General Dental practice in Portland, Oregon in search of a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator with dental experience and working knowledge of dental insurance.

    You MUST have a minimum of 2 years dental experience. The Patient Care Coordinator exhibits quality service, commitment, accountability, and excellence on behalf of the practice. The schedule is Monday through Friday.


    JOB DUTIES:

    If you have a strong background in patient care coordinator/ insurance billing processor, along with excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

    The ESSENTIAL DUTIES of the Patient Care Coordinator/ Insurance billing processor include:


    • Providing friendly and patient centered customer service
    • Answering and making phone calls
    • Scheduling and confirming appointments
    • Maintaining full and productive schedules – optimizing production
    • Reviewing insurance coverage and out-of-pocket fees with patients
    • Assisting patients with filling out forms and other services they may need
    • Processing patient insurance
    • Collecting payments
    • Managing patient records
    • Entering appropriate data and documents into practice management software system
    • Copying and sending patient's records upon written patient request
    • Participating in meetings and training sessions
    • Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
    • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Address customer concerns and resolve any issues in a timely manner
    • You will be PROCESSING INSURANCE PAYMENTS AND FOLLOWING UP ON CLAIMS AND A/R
    • Reliable
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    QUALIFICATIONS for

    Patient Care Coordinator:

    • Two or more years of experience in a dental patient care coordinator or dental administrative role is required.
    • Software skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, dental software (Opendental a plus)
    • Working knowledge of dental procedures and dental insurance
    • Problem-solving skills; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
    • Highly developed organizational and planning skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
