Snow Removal Team Members


OVERALL SUMMARY:


ABOUT THIS POSITION:


  • Participate in snow removal on lots and/or walkways. Operate equipment, snow blower, snow raider walkway machine and/or join our shoveling team during snow/ice events.
  • Remove snow and ice from commercial parking lots, walkways etc.
  • Work with Territory Manager to understand requirements of each site and expectations.
  • Complete duties (snow/ice removal, walkway cleanup, final cleanups, etc.) in a thorough, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with coworkers during weather events. Being available at all times.
  • Ensure that all areas under our responsibility are adequately, safely, and efficiently cleared of snow/ice.
  • Complete time sheets and site reports
  • Ensure company resources are being taken care of.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety.
  • In addition, snow removal team members will help wash equipment, help with shop work and complete other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • Available to be oncall 24/7 and has ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and long hours
  • Respond in a timely manner when called to assist in winter events
  • Ideally 1+ years of proven experience in snow/ice removal
  • Mechanical knowledge a plus
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, selfmotivated and reliable
  • Ability to multi task and can work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong communication skills and creates natural interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to accurately keep records and stay organized using our timetracking and audit software.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme cold
  • Experience in the landscaping, construction, mechanical fields and/or relevant trades
  • Valid Driver's License in MA/NH
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
