    Description

    Position Overview:

    Rolland, a leading security solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Security Installation Technician with a strong background in Burglary Alarm, Access Control, and Video systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Bosch and Honeywell systems, as these are highly desirable for this role. This position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area and will require frequent travel to customer sites for installations and maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. System Installation: Install, configure, and troubleshoot security systems, including Burglary Alarm, Access Control, and Video, with a focus on Bosch and Honeywell systems.
    2. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of security systems, ensuring they are installed to meet industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
    3. System Layout and Customer Specifications: Read and comprehend security system layouts and customer specifications to accurately assess the scope of work, ensuring installations align with customer requirements.
    4. Programming and Integration: Program and integrate security systems to work seamlessly together, providing a comprehensive security solution for customers.
    5. Troubleshooting and Servicing: Ability to troubleshoot and service existing security systems to identify and rectify issues promptly, ensuring customer systems are in optimal working condition.
    6. Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support during system installations and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
    7. System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on existing security systems to ensure they remain in optimal working condition.
    8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records, document all installation and maintenance activities, and provide reports to the management team.
    9. Compliance: Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and codes.
    10. Training: Train customers on how to use and maintain their security systems effectively.

    Qualifications:

    1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of Burglary Alarm, Access Control, and Video systems.
    2. Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency in Bosch and Honeywell security systems is highly desirable.
    3. Licenses: Possession of relevant licenses for Alarm, Video, and Access Control systems is highly desirable.
    4. Technical Skills: Strong technical and troubleshooting skills related to security systems.
    5. Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to various customer locations.
    6. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    7. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians and the management team.
    8. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
