As a member of our team in Ridgefield Park, you will be responsible for managing the entire material procurement process. This includes handling quotes, orders, order confirmations, delivery dates, prices, and payment reminders. You will also be responsible for monitoring and adjusting inventory levels and relevant parameters, as well as maintaining and updating procurement and purchasing data.
You will serve as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, development, planning, and production teams. Additionally, you will assist with processing change requests related to purchased parts, and ensure thorough documentation of processes and training for colleagues.
As our forward thinker, you will:
- Have a completed commercial or technical education, and ideally further training as a specialist, technician, or master
- Be proficient in common office programs and have experience with an ERP system (preferably Oracle)
- Have experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP)
- Have experience in supplier management and negotiating prices
- Have excellent German and English language skills
- Be communicative and enjoy diverse tasks
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and commitment
