    Description

    Position: ICT Technician

    Location: Wilmington, NC

    Pay: $52,000k/yr to $72,800k/yr (depending on experience)

    Experience: 6+ months' experience in commercial structured cabling and knowledge of the industry Experience working with Federal contracts, DOD preferred

    Education: High school diploma or GED; Existing BICSI Technician certifications preferred; Cable and Systems certifications preferred; OSHA 30 certificate preferred

    Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Greene Resources is seeking an ICT Technician to join a growing and dynamic team

    Job Description:

    • Install structured cabling, supports ICT infrastructure, terminates cabling, and installs equipment; mitigate risk, improving and advancing the ICT strategic initiatives
    • Perform OSP/ISP fiber installation both independently and with a team
    • Fusion splice fiber optic cable
    • Support the implementation of Inside Plant (ISP) copper and fiber optic cabling systems for voice, data and video on customer premises
    • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; follow designated job specifications
    • Perform underground cabling installation including termination
    • Review, understand and execute project proposals, quotations, work orders, personnel requirements, equipment and cabling specifications, material management, tooling and transportation requirements for assigned projects
    • Perform site survey as directed by management
    • Provide documentation used to identify all materials, labor, equipment and tooling used on projects; invoice customer, show proof of satisfactory completion of project and provide or update final documentation as required
    • Ensure assigned projects are completed on time, within budget and to industry standards

    Position Requirements:

    • Ability to create documentation, reporting and communication using Microsoft Office Suit/Google Workspace
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations within and outside of state
    • Read and understand schematics and one-line diagrams
    • Work independently without constant supervision
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask responsibilities efficiently
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
    • Strong communication skills with client and management
