    As a Development Coordinator at Lowcountry Food Bank, you will play a vital role in supporting our fundraising efforts and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our donor database.

    You will work closely with the Development Team to enter and manage various financial transactions, provide exceptional customer service to donors, and contribute to the overall success of our fundraising initiatives.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Enter miscellaneous gifts, pledges, pledge payments, and other financial transactions into the Raiser's Edge database with timeliness, accuracy, and attention to detail.

    Process payment types including checks, cash, credit cards, wire transfers, stock, payroll deductions, matching gifts, in-kind donations, and internal transfers.

    Support the Donor Service Manager in the monthly reconciliation process of gift entries and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.

    Prepare gift receipts, acknowledgements, donor tax receipts, tribute cards, invoices, pledge reminders, and other gift-related correspondence.
    Provide exceptional customer service to donors regarding donation requests, receipt reprints, and gift-related inquiries.
    Follow database system standard operating procedures, business rules, and protocols.
    Work closely with the Development Team to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
    Assist in regular database maintenance tasks such as removing duplicate entries and making corrections.
    Update constituent records and maximize efficiencies in data reporting.
    Monitor and maintain the inventory of office supplies for the Development Team.
    Assist with fundraising, cultivation, stewardship, and special events by preparing materials and providing support.
    Schedule and coordinate meetings between the Development and Finance Teams.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
    Previous experience with Raiser's Edge database or similar CRM system preferred.
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
    Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
