Position Details:
The Knowledge Management and Learning Assistant will assist the Senior Manager, Knowledge Management with a range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the firm's Knowledge content,
  • Assisting with the firm's learning and development programs and efforts, and other operational tasks
  • Providing the daytoday administrative support to the Knowledge Management and Learning department

Jitin Bahl, Senior Manager, Knowledge Management & Learning

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with creation and maintenance of all internal knowledge management platforms (including The Knowledge Hub, LearnUpon and INK) and processes
  • Assist the Learning & Development team in executing firmwide learning and development programs, including program scheduling and program administration
  • Assist on daily requests received from attorneys related to our internal knowledge management platform and Learning & Development program to knowledge management and learning
  • Communicate and collaborate with the wider Knowledge Management & Learning team and attend team meetings
Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Knowledge Management Team on the development of The Knowledge Hub

This will involve:

  • Uploading and tagging of content
  • Working closely with IT to manage the platform
  • Review user and content usage statistics to help develop new content strategies
  • Assisting the Knowledge Management Team in the addition and curation of new content
  • Work closely with the various departments/individuals/lawyers in the development of portals within LearnUpon to house trainings.
  • Assist with the tracking of required trainings of Partners and Principals by checking in with the EAs and providing reports
  • Work closely with the Product Development Attorney on projects and research in the development, tracking and update of content on The Knowledge Hub
  • Assist the Knowledge Management and Learning Team in the coordination and scheduling of team meetings and firmwide training.

Requirements:


  • 1+ year(s) of administrative work experience in a law firm environment preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint and Learning Platforms preferred
  • Experience working in a law firm is desirable
  • College degree
  • Must be detailoriented and a critical thinker
  • Ability to maintain a good rapport with various personnel at all levels
  • Ability to organize assignments, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and able to effectively balance priorities
  • Able to follow direction, work independently, and provide status updates, as appropriate
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams as needed
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency using Microsoft365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)

New York City only:
At the time of posting, the salary range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000. This range is based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
